Our Spirits

Wild Common was founded on the idea of duality, between the high snow-covered mountains of Wyoming and rich volcanic soil of Mexico. Where mountains meet canyons, strangers become friends, and passion blends with purpose. Where centuries old traditions of distilling collide with new ideas about preservation and transparency. Where the stories once told, meet a new path forward.

TRADITIONALLY CRAFTED

TEQUILA BLANCO

A bright and crisp un-aged tequila that is packed with agave sweetness and laced with anise, cloves, cinnamon and mellow white pepper. Followed by mandarin-lime citrus and flinty minerals, this approachable blanco tequila is made from 100% Blue Weber agave and verified additive-free. Cultivated in the red volcanic soil of the Jalisco valley region, our blanco is made in El Arenal, Mexico by Master Distiller Salvador Rosales Trejo aka “Chava” by friends and family. At 42% Alc./Vol., our team has unanimously chosen to add less water and not chill-filter our blanco in order to highlight the aromas and flavors of the agave.

TEQUILA REPOSADO

Our reposado is lightly aged in American bourbon barrels hand
selected by the team. Agave is the star of the show and has been elegantly blended with the characteristics of natural oak barrels. Notes of vanilla, fresh roasted pecans, and honey come through. Balanced in its presentation, there are hints of dark fruits like raisins and dates, framed by the sweetness of the agave. Building off the incredible foundation of our blanco, Master Distiller Salvador Rosales Trejo – aka “Chava”, has shown finesse and expertise in balancing these complex aromas and flavors, leaving the taster with a warm comforting feeling.

ENSAMBLE MEZCAL

An ensamble, in the traditional sense, is a blend of multiple types of agaves grown locally in a specific region. Maestro Mezcalero Joel Velasco has hand-selected mature espadin and tobala agave from his community in San Luis Del Rio, Oaxaca and masterfully blended them to produce an honest expression of terroir. The base of espadin brings an initial clean mouthfeel of green citrus, fresh herbs, and a hint of coconut. The tobala follows up with a warm butter flavor, floral notes, and is gentle and sweet on the finish. Approachable but wonderfully complex, this mezcal flexes its versatility while honoring artesanal traditions.
